The Story
Wandering around the narrow streets of Murano one winter morning, I ventured through a mysterious door to behold a treasure trove. Lying quietly under a film of dust, blown glass objets d’art, some from last century, were waiting to be revived. By breathing life into these remnants of history, La Venetiana fashions unique creations which embody the emotions inspired by Venice’s singular and ethereal light.

Creating a mood, or a moment, depends on the atmosphere, the light, the poetry and music in the air. On my quest for the ideal light, I have always been fascinated by flickering candlelight. But can an ideal become reality? Perhaps it is inside each of us, a personal journey. Or perhaps it is simply the here and now, bathed in infinite nuances of varying intensity. Endless Inspiration
VENICE
I draw inspiration from the mysterious, enigmatic nature of Venice, imbued with the city’s abundant artistic heritage.
Fascinated by textile art, I linger over selecting fabrics, delving into collections to find silken threads in vibrant colours, and admiring famous three-dimensional printed fabrics whose secrets have been closely guarded for centuries.
I revel in exploring Murano glassmakers’ workshops and stocks of treasures, looking for rare and precious old objects whose subtle, gleaming patinas beckon from the dark.
